Summary: This procedure utilizes laser light with a specific wavelength that heats the hair follicle. When the follicle reaches a specific temperature, the follicle will shrink, which inhibits future hair growth. A series of 5-8 hair removal sessions, spaced 4-8 weeks a part, is typically required in order to achieve optimal results.
2-3 Weeks Prior to Appointment: Avoid tweezing, bleaching, waxing or hair removal creams. Also, avoid direct sun exposure!
Recovery: Skin may be pink for an hour post-treatment. Most recipients of this treatment can go right back to work or elsewhere without issue.
